FA-1211 is a high-efficiency aziridine crosslinker with 100% active content and excellent water solubility, specifically designed for waterborne coating systems.
It reacts readily with functional groups such as carboxyl(-COOH) in acrylic, polyurethane, and other resin dispersions, forming a dense three-dimensional crosslinked network. Formulation Recommendations
1. For primers and intermediate coatings, add 0.2%-0.5% FA-1211 to the slurry.
2. For topcoats, add 0.5%-1.0% FA-1211 to the slurry.
Usage Instructions
Dilute FA-1211 with water at a 1:1 ratio before adding it to the system. FA-1211 will react with carboxyl groups at room temperature, and baking at 60-80°C will accelerate the reaction.
The mixed slurry should be used within 24 hours. If there is any remaining, it can be added to a new batch but should not exceed 20%.
Precautions
Avoid direct contact with the body. If accidentally ingested, rinse your mouth with water or milk, and seek medical attention if necessary.
Packaging
Available in 5KG and 20KG non-recyclable plastic barrels. Ensure the container lid is tightly closed after use if not completely emptied.
Storage & Shelf Life
Store at 5-35℃, avoiding freezing and direct sunlight. Keep sealed and stir well before use.
